More Radical Amazement about Multiverses….or maybe… Duh! Don’t we already know this?

I like to be smart. I am not often wholly successful. I was reading a review of The Hidden Reality, a new book by a theoretical physicist named Brian Greene. It appears that Brian is talking about “multiverses” as opposed to THE universe. In other words, lots of Big Bangs and lots of “universes”.  Something about strings…..well, we all should read this book. I’m sure it will put us in our places.

As fascinating as this is, I find myself wondering what all the fuss is about. We know all this from watching years and years of Star Trek reruns, don’t we? Who is to say that Gene Roddenberry wasn’t an alien living on earth to try to teach us some truths? As I started off by saying, I’m not often wholly successful in my endeavor to be....
